Erna Karalija is a Full Professor at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, University of Sarajevo. Her research focuses on plant physiology, molecular biology, and stress adaptation mechanisms, with particular interest in seed priming, plant memory, and sustainable agriculture. She has led and participated in numerous national and international research projects, including Horizon Europe initiatives. Prof. Karalija is the recipient of multiple university awards for scientific excellence and is actively engaged in promoting innovation and capacity building in plant science.
