Biography:

Olga Gornik Kljaić is a Professor and Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry. Her research is centered on glycobiology, with a particular emphasis on elucidating the roles of glycans in the development of various pathological conditions and the discovery of glycan-based biomarkers. Her current work is primarily focused on N-glycosylation in diabetes.
